Simple and well-made baskets for collecting.  

Made in Ghana in the traditional 'Bolga' style weave that is strong and sturdy. These are completely natural, each one lovingly made by hand with elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.  Each basket has a natural and durable leather handle that is beautifully woven together at the top of the handle.  

Each basket is handmade and completely unique so there will be slight variations in their size and depth. All are stunning with their own humble character.

All baskets are shipped flattened {this saves on shipping costs} and include easy instructions on wetting and re-shaping your basket.
