How beautiful are these little ikebana dishes that Janette has made just for us. This design honours a simplistic, minimal style, allowing the texture of the clay and the beauty of the flower stems to take centre stage.
I adore ikebana art. I think it is a wonderful way of decorating with dried flowers, amazing for festive table styling, and an especially neat way of displaying all the wiggly wonder of uniquely shaped flower stem.
All dishes will include a solid steel frog pin {with beautiful brass pins} that fit perfectly in the base of each dish. There is a removable rubber seal around the frog pin to keep it from sliding around. You can use your dish with dried flowers, or fill the dish with water and use with fresh stems.
